TVS Nagar Girls Home

This is the first home for the girls started in the City of Coimbatore in 1979. More than 1000 young children have lived here and studied here and gone out into the world with many success stories. The homes have made the children and shaped them not only physically but also emotionally and spiritually. It will soon be 40 years since the home began.

All the Kovaipudur Home’s needs have been met by sponsors this year. Now the boys are going to a Government Aided school called the Sakunthala School. They collect a small amount as fees, but they care much for the studies of the children and they are doing well.

This home has been functioning since the year 2000 and more than 150 children have been blessed since then. Mother Ruth started it and taught the children how to brush their teeth, take bath, and live hygienic lives. Not only that, they have been introduced to Jesus and life in the Spirit.

This used to be a fully functional Children home for the tribal girls started by Mother Ruth. It was started in the year 2003. 50 girls have benefitted from the love and care shown in the home.

This program was started in the early 90s and they have impacted not only children but the families as such. They gather once in a month and they receive help at their center. This is such a blessing especially to the economically classified: Lower Middle Class Families. As they struggle to send the children to school, provide them three square meals a day, receiving this monetary help has encouraged them much.

Mielkal School

The school was started in the 80s for the benefit of the children living on the hills most of whom were Muslim. There have been more than 3000 children who have been benefitted by the school. The school once boasted of strength of around 800 children for many years. But there has been some problems with the approval of the land with the government. But it is in the verge of coming to a conclusion where the school can begin to function again as before.
